Editorial policy
This page applies to every route that carries PlayRatings UK branding. If something here conflicts with law, law wins.
Licence first
We treat an active UK Gambling Commission licence as the gate for inclusion in our UK-facing tables. If that status changes in public records, we pull or rewrite the profile.
Transparent outbound links
Primary buttons use normal anchors with readable tracking parameters (utm and partner ids). We do not operate redirect hubs, cloaked URLs, or encoded payloads.
Scores are comparative
Figures are editorial judgement against our matrix, not an audit of fairness or payouts. Operators publish their own RTP ranges and rules; we cannot substitute for reading those documents.
Updates when facts move
Material changes (brand merger, licence sanction, major offer overhaul) trigger a re-read. Minor wording tweaks may happen without a formal news post.
Affiliate relationships disclosed
Where we earn commission, we say so next to the recommendation. Declining an advertiser does not remove them from public licence data—you can still research them independently.
